While many golf enthusiasts are content to install a little synthetic green in their yard, or tee off at the club, some players persist in getting a true grass green onto their properties. 
Lots of experts warn against doing this without thought and consideration for what goes into the project: in addition to the hardship of designing the green, they argue, you’ll be spending tons of time keeping it in decent condition. While grass greens are definitely desirable for more realistic play, homeowners with a real green in the yard can have their hands full with the upkeep.

Some attention to the base can help with this problem, but inevitably, any little condition like poor drainage or a bad storm can cause “puddling” and problems that develop will get a lot worse with each ensuing storm. your grass healthy. You’ll also want to apply fungicides and other chemicals as needed. Another good way to keep your course looking good is to apply lime once a year.
